PEMBERIAN PUPUK CAIR NUTRITAN DENGAN BEBERAPA KONSENTRASI TERHADAP PERTUMBUHAN DAN HASIL JAGUNG (Zea mays L.)

Abstrak

Corn has a strategic role in the national economy and can be used as an alternative food. One of the ways to
increase the growth and yield of corn is by using Nutritan liquid fertilizer. Nutritan liquid fertilizer is a new type of
fertilizer and has never been applied to corn. This study aims to obtain the best concentration of Nutritan liquid
fertilizer in increasing the growth and yield of corn. This study was arranged using a Completely Randomized Design
(CRD) that consist of 5 levels of treatments, namely: P0 =PC NASA 0.5%, P1 = PC Nutritan 5%, P2 = PC Nutritan
10%, P3 = PC Nutritan 15%, P4 = PC Nutritan 20%, Each treatment was repeated 9 replications so that 45
experimental units were obtained. Parameters observed were corn height, corn stalk diameter, cob weight of one plant,
cob length, cob diameter, corn wet weight, corn dry weight. The results showed that the application with several
concentrations of Nutritan liquid fertilizer did not have a significant effect on all observation parameters. However the
concentration of Nutritan liquid fertilizer 5% can be recommended for its use
