Different sources of microorganisms as decomposers of organic material will influence the demineralization process of organic material in producing nutrients for plants. The aim of this research is to obtain the best source of decomposer in compost pellets for tomato cultivation. This research was carried out from November 2023 to February 2024 at the UARDS Research Farm, Faculty of Agriculture and Animal Science, UIN Sultan Syarif Kasim Riau. The treatments in this study were: K0 (8 g NPK), K1 (compost pellets without adding inoculum), K2 (goat manure compost pellets), K3 (chicken manure compost pellets), K4 (nutritantan POC compost pellets), K5 (compost pellets Trichoderma harzianum). This research used the RAL method with 6 treatments and 6 replications, resulting in 36 experimental units. The parameters observed consisted of plant height, leaf color chart, stem diameter, number of productive branches, number of fruit per plant, fruit weight per plant, wet weight and dry weight of the plant. The results of the research showed that tomato treated with goat manure compost pellets and those treated with Trichoderma harzianum compost pellets showed no significant difference in each observation parameter. Based on the research results, it can be concluded that giving different inoculum sources did not show significantly different results, while the Trichoderma harzianum inoculum source had the best results in terms of fruit weight parameters per plant. Based on the results of research conducted, it is recommended to use Trichoderma harzianum compost pellets to increase tomato production.
