Abstrak

Acacia (Acacia crassicarpa) is one of the most suitable plants to increase land productivity after gold mining.
This study aims to determine the best dose on the growth of acacia (Acacia crassicarpa) seedlings to the addition of
coconut shell charcoal and manure on ex-gold mine planting media. This research has been carried out on the land of
Street Buluh Cina, Pekanbaru City, Riau Province and sample analysis was carried out at the Assesment Institue
Agricultural Technology (AIAT)in July–September 2021, using a completely randomized design. (CRD) one factor with
6 treatments (control; coconut shell charcoal 10 g + 20 g cow manure; coconut shell charcoal 20 g + 40 g cow
manure; coconut shell charcoal 30 g + 60 g cow manure; coconut shell charcoal 40 g + 80 g cow manure; coconut
shell charcoal 50 g + 100 g cow manure) with 5 replications. Parameters observed were plant height, stem diameter,
plant wet weight, plant dry weight, number of root nodules and soil analysis. The results showed that the application of
coconut shell charcoal and manure had different effects on plant height, plant dry weight and number of root nodules.
The conclusion of this study was that the best dose for the treatment of coconut shell charcoal was 30 g + 60 g cow
manure on the parameters of plant height, plant dry weight and number of root nodules
