Utilization of raw materials derived from rice husk charcoal and cow manure can increase the success of
replanting on critical lands of former gold mines. This study aims to determine the best dose on oil palm plants by
giving cow manure and husk charcoal on ex-gold mine soil. This research was carried out on the land of Jalan Buluh
Cina, Simpang Baru Panam Village, Tampan District, Pekanbaru City, Riau Province and sample analysis was carried
out at the Assesment Institue Agricultural Technology (AIAT) in July-September 2021, using a completely randomized
design (CRD) one factor with 6 treatments, namely (control; cow manure 150 g + 350 g husk charcoal; cow manure
200 g + 300 g husk charcoal; cow manure 250 g + 250 g husk charcoal; cow manure 300 g + 200 g husk charcoal;
cow manure 350 g + 150 g husk charcoal) with 5 replications. Parameters observed were plant height, number of
leaves, leaf length, leaf width, stem diameter and soil analysis. The results showed that the application of rice husk
charcoal and cow manure had different effects on plant height and leaf length. The conclusion of this study is that the
best dose for the treatment of cow manure is 250 g + 250 g of husk salt on the parameters of plant height and leaf
length.
