The Correlation Knowledge And Energy Intake With Chronic Energy Deficiency (CED) Among Pregnant Women In The Sedinginan Health Centre Working Area Rokan Hilir Regency

Abstrak

CED includes conditions related to mother experincing long-term ebergy and nutrient deficiencies. This study aims to determine the correlation between knowledge and energy intake with chronic energy deficiency (CED) in pregnant women in the Working Area of Sedinginan Health Center, Rokan Hilir Regency. The type of this research is an analytical survey with a cross-sectional approach. The sampling method for this research is proportional random sampling with 70 respondents. The results of the univariate test of respondents' knowledge as follows, insufficient knowledge 62.9%, and energy intake, the majority of respondents 67.1% had insufficient energy intake. The nutritional status of pregnant women who do not experience chronic energy deficiency CED is 55.7%, and 44.3% experience CED. The results of the chi-square test analysis showed a significant relationship between knowledge and KEK (p-value = 0.009) and energy intake with KEK (p-value = 0.000) value OR 9,285 in pregnant women in the working area of the Sedinginan Health Center. Conclusion, there is a correlation between knowledge and energy intake with chronic energy deficiency in pregnant women in the Working Area of Sedinginan Health Center, Rokan Hilir Regency.
