Adolescent females are at high risk of anemia and malnutrition. One way to prevent anemia is by consuming iron supplementation. Adolescent female adherence in consuming iron supplementation is still low. It is influenced by internal and external individual factors, such as knowledge and peer support. The study aimed to analyze the correlation of knowledge about anemia and peer support with adherence in consuming iron supplementation in adolescent female at Integrated Agricultural State Vocational School Riau Province. The study used an analytic observational method with a cross-sectional approach. The sampling technique used purposive sampling of 168 respondents and used the chi-square test. The results showed univariate analysis, majority of respondents had a poor level of knowledge (47.0%), a moderate level of peer support (48.8%), and a non-adherence level of iron supplementation consumption (50.0%). There was a correlation between peer support and adherence in consuming iron supplementation in adolescent female at Integrated Agricultural State Vocational School Riau Province with a p-value of 0.005 and there was no correlation between anemia knowledge and adherence in consuming iron supplementation with a p-value of 0.877. In conclusion, there was a correlation between peer support and adherence in consuming iron supplementation and there was no correlation between anemia knowledge and adherence in consuming iron supplementation in adolescent female.
