Sago dregs are a type of plantation waste that contains high levels of carbohydrates, high crude fiber, and low protein, thus requiring further processing in the form of complete ration wafers. This study aimed to evaluate the WSC value, NH₃ production, and VFA of complete ration wafers based on sago dregs in ration formulation in vitro. The study was conducted at the Laboratory of Nutrition and Feed Technology, Sultan Syarif Kasim State Islamic University of Riau, and the in vitro analysis was carried out at the Dairy Nutrition Laboratory, Bogor Agricultural University, Bogor. The research was conducted from February 2025 to March 2025. A Completely Randomized Design (CRD) was used with four treatments and four replications: P0: complete ration wafer + 0% sago dregs, P1: complete ration wafer + 10% sago dregs, P2: complete ration wafer + 20% sago dregs, P3: complete ration wafer + 30% sago dregs. The parameters measured were WSC value, NH₃ production, and total VFA. The results showed that complete ration wafers based on sago dregs had a highly significant effect (P<0.01) on WSC value, NH₃ production, and total VFA. The addition of 30% sago dregs did not result in the highest WSC value, NH₃ production, and total VFA. The best treatment was obtained from the addition of 10% sago dregs with a WSC value of 12.24%, NH₃ production of 7.52 mM, and total VFA of 129.81 mM.
