Control of white lice (Paracoccus marginatus) can be done chemically, but this has a negative impact on the environment. An environmentally friendly alternative that can be used is a botanical pesticide such as mahogany leaf extract (Swietenia mahagoni L.) and ketapang leaf extract (Terminalia catappa L.). This study aims to obtain the most effective concentration of mahogany leaf extract and ketapang leaf extract on the mortality of mealybug pests (Paracoccus marginatus) in vitro. This research was conducted at the Laboratory of Pathology, Entomology, Microbiology and Soil Science, Faculty of Agriculture and Animal Science Universitas Islam Negeri Sultan Syarif Kasim Riau from February to March 2025. This study used a Completely Randomized Design with 6 treatments, namely P0-= aquades, P0+= lambda sialotrin+thiamethoxam 2 mL/L, and a combination of mahogany leaf extract and ketapang leaf at concentrations of P1 = 5%, P2 = 10%, P3 = 15%, and P4 = 20% with 4 replications, totaling 24 experimental units. The parameters observed were the initial time of death, daily mortality, LC50, and total mortality. The results showed that the combination of mahogany leaf extract and ketapang leaf 20% was the the most effective treatment with an initial time of whitefly death of 4.75 hours and a total mortality of 100%, and an LC50 value of 31.78%. It is recommended to use a different application methods or on a field scale.
