Analysis of the Efficiency of Biofortified Rice (Inpari Nutri Zinc) Farming

Abstrak

 Inpari Nutri Zinc rice is one of the biofortified rice varieties developed in Rokan Hulu Regency to help address nutritional deficiencies. This study aims to analyze the efficiency of Inpari Nutri Zinc rice farming in Rokan Hulu Regency. The research was conducted in Rambah Utama Village, Rambah Samo District, Rokan Hulu Regency, Riau Province, from January to March 2024. A survey method was employed, and the sample was determined using the Slovin technique, resulting in 35 respondents. Both primary and secondary data were used. The analytical methods applied included cost analysis, income analysis, and farming efficiency analysis. The results showed that the average farming cost was Rp 10,321,987 per hectare, with a production of 3,073 kg per hectare, revenue of Rp 44,566,294 per hectare, and an R/C ratio of 4.318, which is greater than 1. Inpari Nutri Zinc biofortified rice farming practiced by farmers is efficient and feasible for further development.
