Abstrak

The study aimed to evaluate the effect of adding noni fruit extract encapsulation, Zn, and Cu to the diet on the digesta passage rate and fiber digestibility of broiler chickens. The materials used were 200 unsexed Ross broilers aged 9 days, with an average body weight of 233.69±7.28 g. The treatment additive used was noni fruit extract encapsulation supplemented with Zn and Cu (EEBMZnCu). The feed ingredients consisted of yellow corn, rice bran, soybean meal, fish meal, limestone, premix, lysine, and methionine. The study was designed using a completely randomized design with four treatments and five replicates, each experimental unit containing 10 chickens. The treatments applied were: T0 (basal diet); T1 (basal diet + 0.06% EEBMZnCu); T2 (basal diet + 0.12% EEBMZnCu); T3 (basal diet + 0.18% EEBMZnCu). Parameters measured were the digesta passage rate and fiber digestibility. Data were analyzed using analysis of variance (ANOVA) at a 5% significance level. If significant effects were found, Duncan's test was performed at a 5% significance level to determine differences among treatments. The results showed that the addition of noni fruit extract encapsulation with Zn and Cu to the broiler diet significantly (P<0.05) affected the digesta passage rate and fiber digestibility. The study concluded that adding 0.12% noni fruit extract encapsulation, Zn, and Cu to the diet could slow the digesta passage rate and improve fiber digestibility in broiler chickens.
