In Indonesia, the crossbreeding of boer goats with local goats also has the aim that goats can adapt well to the weather and climate in Indonesia for easy management of feed, health, and the surrounding environment. However, goats raised in tropical climates also have problems facing their environment. Environments in the tropics tend to have unstable or extreme temperatures, humidity, and weather conditions that affect goat productivity. Temperature Humidity Index (THI) is an important environmental component to determine environmental conditions in a state that supports livestock comfort or otherwise can indicate the environment causes livestock to become stressed. The purpose of this study was to determine the physiological response of cross boer goats and the activity of lying cross boer goats to the Temperature Humidity Index at the Indonesian Center for Livestock Training (ICLT). The livestock used in this study were female cross boer goats with a total of 17 heads aged 2-3 years. Data collection was carried out using the observation method or direct observation. The parameters used were the measurement of Temperature Humidity Index, measurement of physiological responses of heart rate, respiration rate, skin temperature, rectal temperature, and lying activity. The results stated that the value of heart rate, skin temperature, rectal temperature of cross boer goats in ICLT Batu City was in normal condition in all time categories. However, the value of the respiration rate and lying activity of cross boer goats in ICLT Batu City is stated to be in an abnormal condition in all time categories.
