Abstrak

The agricultural sector is cultivated on various types of land in Indonesia, one of the agricultural resources that has not been utilized optimally is riparian wetland. The effort needed to increase the productivity of riparian wetlands is by providing mycorrhizal and ameliorant biofertilizers. One of the plants that can be developed in riparian wetlands land is tomatoes through the application of mycorrhizal and ameliorant biofertilizers. The research aimed to determine the growth response and high level of resistance of tomato plants (Solanum lycopersicum) by applying ameliorant and mycorrhizal biofertilizers in several water saturated conditions in the early generative stage.  This research was carried out at the Laboratory and Experimental Garden of the Agrotechnology Study Program, Faculty of Plant and Animal Sciences, Universitas Bina Insan from July to December 2024.The research design used was Complete Randomized Factorial Design (CRD) with two factors, that the first factor was water-saturated stress (S) and the second factor was the combination of mycorrhizal + ameliorant biofertilizer (M). The results showed that the treatment of water-saturated stress had a significant effect on the results of plant height, number of leaves, root length and dry weight of tomato plants, while the treatment of ameliorant + mycorrhizal biofertilizer combination only had a significant effect on the results of plant height, number of leaves and dry weight of plants. Water-saturated stress and the combination of mycorrhizal + ameliorant biofertilizers showed interaction results that were not significantly different in all observed growth variables of tomato plants.
