PERAN KOPERASI AGRO NIAGA (KAN) JABUNG DALAM PENGEMBANGAN USAHA PETERNAKAN SAPI PERAH DI KECAMATAN JABUNG, KABUPATEN MALANG (STUDI KASUS DI DESA GADING KEMBAR)

Abstrak

This resarch aims were: 1) to analyze the role of Koperasi Agro Niaga (KAN) Jabung as a learning class, production unit and family-based business cooperation on dairy farming business development as well as 2). to identify factors influences the role of KAN Jabung on a dairy farming business development in Gading Kembar Village, Jabung District, Malang Regency. The research method used was survey method and case study. Data collected through direct observation, interviews using a structured questionnaire, likert scale 1-5, and documentation. Type of data used was primary data and secondary data. The respondent chosen purposively with its criteria dairy farmers who are members of the KAN Jabung and having lactating cows, as much as 70 respondents. Data then analyzed by using economic analysis, multiple regression analysis, and descriptive analysis. The results showed that KAN Jabung played dominant role in the development of agricultural businesses as a learning class, production unit and joint business cooperation in a family manner. The average income level of dairy cattle farmers in Gading Kembar Village was IDR 2.193.944/month.
